Founder and CEO - Sai Gundavelli

As the Founder & CEO of Solix Technologies, Mr. Gundavelli is responsible for the company's overall vision and strategic direction. Under his leadership the company pioneered the concept of Enterprise Data Management, providing the first worldwide infrastructure platform to manage data across all segments of Enterprise Data (Structured and Unstructured).

He has a proven track record in recognizing and quickly responding to the requirements of the high-technology marketplace and is the founder of many successful startups including Emagia Corporation (www.emagia.com) and SITI Corporation (www.siti.com)

Prior to founding Solix technologies, Mr.Gundavelli spearheaded several strategic initiatives in Enterprise Application areas at technology leaders like CISCO Systems and Arix Corp.
 
Mr.Gundavelli is a member of the Churchill Club, TIE Charter member and also a member of NASSCOM. He is a business and technology thought leader and a distinguished speaker in many forums. He holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from University of Oklahoma and Bachelors from Osmania University.

Executive Chairman - John Ottman

John Ottman brings over 25 years of industry experience to Solix. Most recently Mr. Ottman was president and CEO of Application Security, Inc., where he led the company to a leadership position in the market for database security, risk and compliance. Mr. Ottman also held key senior management roles at Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) and IBM (NYSE: IBM), as well as at high growth startups Corio, Inc. and Princeton Softech, Inc. In his 10 years at Oracle, Mr. Ottman served in various field executive positions including Group Vice President, Industrial Sector. In 1999 as executive vice president at cloud industry pioneer Corio, he led the company from startup phase to industry leadership resulting in an IPO and the acquisition of Corio by IBM in 2004.
John Ottman
 
Mr. Ottman then joined IBM to manage the integration of Corio's cloud offerings and lead worldwide sales for IBM Applications on Demand. Later Mr. Ottman joined Princeton Softech, Inc., as President, Global Operations. Princeton Softech, Inc., a high growth company and leading provider of enterprise data management software, was also acquired by IBM in 2007. Upon the acquisition Mr. Ottman rejoined IBM to run worldwide sales for the new IBM Optim product line.
 

Mr. Ottman is also author of the book “Save the Database, Save the World!”  He holds a B.A. from Denison University.

 

Chief Strategy Officer - George Symons

George Symons brings his broad executive leadership experience to Solix.  He has served as CTO for Legato and EMC's Information Management Organization.  He has held CEO roles at Yosemite Technologies and EvoStor.  Most recently COO at Xiotech Corporation where he helped take the company through a complete product and market position transition from a mid-tier storage supplier to a performance storage company for enterprise customers.

Mr. Symons is a frequent speaker. He holds bachelor degrees from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA from UCLA.

Sr.Vice President of Services - Mark Lee

As Sr. Vice President, Mr. Lee has taken on the charter to build Managed Services offering for Information Lifecycle Management solutions.

He is a senior technology executive with more than 25 years of experience with a track record of successful enterprise application implementations and business transformations. Prior to joining Solix, he worked as Sr. Vice President at BearingPoint where he led their Enterprise Applications practice. During his tenure at BearingPoint, he pioneered the effort to develop a rapid implementation methodology for ERP applications that was widely adopted in the industry.
Mark Lee
Prior to BearingPoint, he served as Director of Information Technology for a medical device manufacturing company where he led one of the very first implementations of the Oracle applications.
 
Mr. Lee holds degrees from The University of Texas and Texas A&M University.
 
 

Vice President of Product Management, Marketing & Strategy - Raghu Kodali

Raghu Kodali brings 15 years enterprise software experience to Solix Technologies. Previously, he was with Oracle Corporation for 12 years, most recently as Director of Product Management & Strategy Oracle Enterprise Content Management;In addition, Raghu was Oracle's SOA Evangelist leading next-generation Java EE initiatives at Oracle Development Tools. Raghu commenced his Oracle career at Oracle Asia-Pacific, Singapore, in field Pre-Sales and Technical Marketing. After university graduation, Raghu worked at National Computer Systems, Singapore, as Software Engineer
Raghu Kodali - Vice President, Product Management, Marketing & Startegy
 
He is a frequent speaker and has written several articles for leading IT publications, including Java Developer's Journal, JavaPro, AjaxWorld, and Oracle Magazine. Raghu Kodali is co-author of a leading technical reference on Java computing, “Beginning EJB 3 Application Development”, published by Apress, 2006.
 
 

Vice President of Sales - Russ Puryear

Russ Puryear is a senior sales executive with more than 25 years of direct and indirect sales experience.  Russ joined Solix Technologies in 2002 as one of the original sales executives and was responsible for leading the sales strategy for many of the major Solix customers including DHL, Social Security Administration, and Honeywell before becoming the US Sales Director.  Prior to joining Solix, Russ had a successful sales career at various large corporations including Sybase, Informatica and Digital Equipment.
